Bred in ages past to be weapons in the war for Middle-earth, the Great Worms were huge, serpentine creatures, wrapped in scaly hides and possessed of wicked intelligence. Inside combined the cunning of thinking beings and the savagery of wild beasts.Long horns, bladed claws and wicked maws of countless teeth they had. The sharp, slitted eyes of the Dragons were ever-watchful, their sense of smell keen, and their long bodies grew to a size unrivalled by any other creatures to walk upon the earth. Some were winged, able to take to the skies and travel vast distances like the wind. Others burned with fiery wrath inside, spewing conflagration and death from their outstretched jaws at will. And in some such abilities were paired to terrifying effect...By the later years of the Third Age only a few remained, mostly sequestered in the scorched lands of the Withered Heath, far to the north and pinned between the spurred arms of the Grey Mountains. Great was their hunger and a lust for violence burned ever in their bellies. When rumour of the wealth of Erebor reached their ears, the greatest of the Fire Drakes yet living in Middle-earth took to wing and rushed south. Smaug was his name; a vast gold and red monster whose viciousness was matched only by his pride. His coming was like a hurricane of fire; the cities of Dale and Erebor swiftly falling before his irresistible advance; countless Dwarves and Men consumed in his flames, or shredded by tooth and claw. Barely had the inhabitants realised what calamity was befalling them when they were dead or displaced. Then the Great Dragon, who called himself Magnificent, seized the riches of the Lonely Mountain and took up residence to lie coiled upon his hoard. Henceforth Erebor became a place of dread, and all about the lands became barren, parched and despoiled; the Desolation of Smaug.Digitally sculpted in exquisite detail by long-time Weta Workshop sculptor Daniel Cockersell, Smaug the Magnificent will make a stunning addition to your collection of Weta Workshop miniature statues. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work. Please note: images are of a pre-production prototype. Each sculpture is hand painted and minor variations will occur.Dimensions: 15 x 20 x

Many imagine Wizards as great and powerful beings, moving the very powers of the world in subtle yet significant ways towards a grand design. Yet, Wizards come in all manner of being, and some prefer the company of critters to the company of kings. Tasked with guiding the inhabitants of Middle-earth in their struggle against Sauron, Wizards varied widely in form and nature. While some moved among the powers of the world, giving counsel in war and wielding their wonderous ways to reshape empires, others were more subtle. Eschewing grand halls or battlements, there was one among the Istari who instead sought the solace of the wilderness, preferring the company of wild creatures to that of kings. To those who might not peer more closely, Radagast the Brown is a gentle hermit, soft in character and mind, often fumbling or fretful, with tattered robes and mismatched footwear, his raiment home to a bewildering menagerie of miniature beasts and fungi. This façade is an illusion so complete even the Wizard himself is sometimes fooled, but in truth great power resides within him, as it does in each of the five Istari, and he is ever watchful for the return of the enemy against whom he was sent from the West centuries ago. Size: 11 x 17,5 x

Learned and powerful, Saruman devoted himself to studying the ways of his enemy, that he might therein devise a means of defeating him. To this end, he amassed within his tower a vast library of arcane knowledge. Of chief interest to Saruman was the mastery of ringcraft; for it was with the creation of the Rings of Power that the Dark Lord nearly conquered all of Middle-earth once before, and might yet again should he reclaim the missing One. Over the years he sought clues to the Ring's whereabouts, hoping to be first to find it and perhaps wield its power for himself. For even as he conferred and planned with his allies to stand against Sauron, in secret Saruman had become enamoured with the ways of his adversary, a fate hastened by his use of the Palantír of Orthanc. At first the Wizard had used the seeing stone to spy upon Mordor, but in time he came to commune directly with the Dark Lord. Contend as he might, Saruman was no match for his enemy. Pride blinded him to his own weakness, and Sauron, through lies and sheer force of will, made the White Wizard his vassal; an instrument to be wielded and ultimately discarded in his design to subjugate all free peoples of the world. As the head of the Order of the Istari, Saruman the White was tasked with orchestrating the defence of Middle-earth against the resurgence of the Dark Lord Sauron. Two centuries before the War of the Ring the pale Wizard was given the keys to Orthanc, an ancient tower of black stone ringed by a mighty wall at the foot of the Misty Mountains. Within this fortress he made his home, sitting upon a great carven throne. Product features: - 1:6 scale - Made from high-quality polystone - Depicts the iconic ally-turned-villain Saruman seated upon his blackened throne - Saruman holds his Palantír containing an illusory Eye of Sauron - Removeable features include the 2 lamps, Saruman's staff and Saruman himself - A perfect companion piece for other 1:6 collectibles like Lurtz and Wormtongue (sold separately) - Over one meter tall - Sculpted by Middle-earth Master Gary Hunt Dimensions: 51 x 110 x Limited Edition of 703 pcs worldwide. Bred in secret by the fallen Wizard Saruman, the Uruk-hai issued forth from the pits of Isengard under the command of the towering, lynx-eyed Lurtz. Driving his troops to run under a burning sun, Lurtz hunted ceaselessly along the banks of the Anduin for the Fellowship of the Ring. Among the first of his kind to be pulled from the earth, Lurtz was tall, even for an Uruk. No sooner had he emerged than Saruman bent him to his will, setting the Uruk-hai on their snivelling Orc overseers in a test of loyalty and strength. Without thought or regret the Uruks slew their lesser cousins, binding themselves to the Wizard by marking their flesh and shields with his sigil, the emblem of the white hand. Find the Halflings!' On the slopes of Amon Hen, the Uruk-hai fell upon the Fellowship, chasing and scattering them among the woods. Defending Merry and Pippin, Boromir of Gondor stood between the hobbits and innumerable foes, cutting down Uruk after Uruk even as Lurtz struck him with arrows from afar. Pierced by many shafts, the warrior at last stumbled to his knees, spent, and resigned to his death before the triumphant Uruk-hai. Savouring the sweet taste of his victory, a leer curled across the toothy mouth of Isengard's captain, and he raised his bow to send the final dart... - 1:6 scale; - Made from high-quality polystone; - Digitally sculpted by the combined efforts of multiple Weta Workshop artists; - Created in celebration of the LOTR 20th Anniversary; - Signature pose and armour. On the morning of his one-hundred and eleventh birthday, the eccentric master of Bag End huddles amid a jumble of paper and books, his quill a blur as he scratches at his memoir. Miraculously hale for one of his advanced years, Bilbo Baggins is no ordinary Hobbit. A small person he might be, but his has been as long and storied life, and he pursues the self-appointed duty to record it in every detail with a furious fervour. It is for Bilbo's young cousin Frodo, and other Hobbits like him, that he is compelled to write. Age creeps upon Bilbo, little by little, and that Tookishness in his blood stirs wistful thoughts of far off mountains and friends long gone. His mind is made up; plans are set. Now all he needs is time to finish what he has begun, if those unwanted guests would stop ringing the bell! A story is only as good as the one who tells it. Here the adventurous Hobbit scrawls out his tales in the comfort of his own home, free to let his mind wander whilst safe and warm. Daniel Cockersell honours Sir Ian Holm by capturing the moment that Bilbo starts writing the story that will be loved by all. The 20th Anniversary of The Lord of The Rings movies has a special significance to us here at the Workshop, and we are delighted to commemorate the upcoming event with a brand-new series of iconic Middle-earth figures. Let the celebrations begin! With the loss of Gandalf and the breaking of the Fellowship, many would be forgiven for falling to despair, but not Aragorn. Most would call it a fool's errand, chasing down the roving band of elite Uruk-hai to rescue Merry and Pippin, but not Aragorn. Brave, tenacious, and kind-hearted, Aragorn proved time again the worth and strength of his character. Solidifying his position as a defender of peace within Middle-earth. "While Frodo and Sam pick their way slowly towards Mordor through the labyrinthine Emyn Muil, Merry and Pippin are captives of the brutal Uruk-hai. Snatched during the raid at Amon Hen, the Hobbits are slung like luggage on the broad backs of the tireless Uruks, who run day and night through broken hills and across the rolling plains of Rohan. Faced with the choice of who to follow, Aragorn chooses to let the Ring of Power go in Frodo's care; vowing instead to pursue Merry and Pippin's captors and rescue the Hobbits, if he can. With him go Gimli and Legolas: Man, Dwarf, and Elf. Three kindreds united in purpose; three hunters, whose chase across the plains would become the stuff of legend and song in years to come. Barely stopping for breath as he beats a relentless pace across the plains, Aragorn leads his friends over rock and grass, smashed flat by iron-shod boots, single-minded in his determination to run down their quarry. Yet the pursuit drags on; where Orcs might usually seek shelter from the sun, these run unafraid under the open sky, driven by some unseen force... for great powers have begun to move in Middle-earth. As war looms and the race to secure the Ring quickens, the enemy's reach extends ever closer. " Dimensions: 32,5 x

The grim fruit of malignant science, essence vials were small glass receptacles into which were distilled the drained life essences of captured Gelflings. A cruel invention of the Skeksis Scientist, SkekTek, essence draining was accomplished by strapping captives into a device which used the power of the sickening Crystal to suck from them their vital energies, collecting them in liquid form. These delicate flasks of life force were greedily consumed by the pernicious Skeksis, thereby artificially extending their own long, thin lives. The act was a vile betrayal of the power of the Crystal and of the Gelflings, who trusted their draconic lords with its custodianship and their own safety. The uncovering of this secret crime and its consequences will shake the foundations of Thra. The Essence Vial joins Weta Workshop's exquisitely detailed range of Dark Crystal collectibles; a range that pays homage to the richly layered, fantastical world of Thra.
