I started my journey to Gamersheek in 2004 when I started work for a video games retailer, I spent the next 11 years working my way up and becoming a Buyer for them.

This allowed me to get used to negotiating and dealing with suppliers.

After visiting a Toy Fair early 2015, my eyes were open to a world that I didn't know existed, and with this Gamersheek was born, initially supposed to be gaming apparel and collectibles, I accidentally fell into the anime world by selling the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Nendoroids, this led me to find out what other Nendoroids were available and discovering the world of Anime.

As covid hit and everyone was forced to stay home, Gamersheek was growing at a rate that was near unsustainable, I was working at least 18 hours a day, 7 days a week trying to ensure that every customer got their order and I could keep up with the demand, still running Gamersheek myself, the business was completely self funded, starting with a £200 order and now with a turnover of over £2m.

As Covid was coming to an end, I decided to open my first ever physical store in Glasgow, this was a learning curve that was steep and fast, working 77 days straight trying to absorb as much information about running a store as possible and this led me to start to use fulfilment centres to help ship all the orders and store the ever growing number of SKU's we had.

We have been Good Smile Company's Premium Partner for a number of years, and we will continue to work closely with them, and now we are partners for brands such as Kotobukiya, First 4 Figures, Megahouse, Bandai to name a few.

I have had so much fun over the last 10 years building this family business to what it is today.

Gamersheek offer 2 levels of Loyalty Scheme.

Introducing Gamersheek -CORE-

This is our standard loyalty scheme, customers have to select to enrol, once enrolled customers will get the following:

  • 1 SheekPoint for every £1 spent
  • Loyalty Points CAN be earned on Sale items
  • Birthday Presents (discount codes, free points)

Our second Loyalty Scheme is:



Gamersheek -PLUS-

This is our premium loyaly scheme, and comes at a cost of £29.95 per year, which is less than £3 per month (the cost of a single express delivery upgrade per month!)

Once enrolled customers will unlock the following:

  • Free Upgraded Delivery to Express Shipping (RM Tracked 24, instead of 48)

Gamersheek are proud to be able to offer stock from various distributors in the UK & EU.

These are products that are in stock with the suppliers but we have sold out of, this means we can offer an extensive catalogue without carrying the stock physically in our warehouses.

These products are clearly marked as - 

 Available for dispatch in 14 working days which is being updated to:

These products are classed as "special order" products and are therefore exempt from cancellation, if the product is damaged or defective, then you can return them as normal.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

It happens to everyone, you order the collectibles that you have been desperate for, only for it to arrive and the box is poorly packed & limited protection!

Gamersheek understand how important package condition is with collectibles, it makes a difference in display, enjoyment and ultimately any resale value!

Many retailers (we won't name them, although one may have a rainforest of the same name), who ignore the importance of collecting!

The Gamersheek Solution!

Gamersheek now warehouse our own stock, we no longer use fulfilment centres, this allows us to control every aspect to ensure that the product arrives to you in the condition you would expect.

Our warehouse have been trained how to pack orders to ensure that your items are protected and arrive in the expected condition.

How do Gamersheek pack their orders?

Our warehouse are trained to pack orders as they would expect to receive their personal orders, this is to ensure that your orders arrive in the desired condition.

We will use protective bubbles on all sides of the package or surround the item with biodegradable packing peanuts and use double walled boxes to ensure integrity is maintained throughout the shipping process.

What packing materials do Gamersheek use?

Gamersheek will use:

100% recyclable Air Cushions
100% recyclable Wrapper Quilts
100% biodegradable loose fill packing chips
Recyclable Gummed Tape which can be recycled with cardboard. (this will be rolled out in May 2025)

Double Walled Boxes for all shipments.

We are proud to do as much as possible to be as sustainable as we can.

Gamersheek will always try to ensure all orders are packed in appropriate sized shipping boxes to reduce waste, where possible we will potentially re-use boxes in order to cut down on wasted fuel and space.

Domestic Shipping

Gamersheek has always had the idea that shipping should be transparent and free be that with a certain basket value or just in general.

This is why Gamersheek offers FREE UK SHIPPING on ALL orders.

Our standard shipping service is Royal Mail Tracked 48, this should be delivered to your door within 2-3 working days from dispatch.

We offer 4 Premium Next Day solutions either Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD Next Day, ParcelForce 24, and we are just introducing DHL Express as well so you can have the choice of courier and delivery service that suits your needs.

International Shipping

International Shipping Methods

We currently offer:

DPD Lite - for parcels upto 2KG
ParcelForce Euro Priority - for parcels upto 30KG
DPD European Road - for parcels upto 30KG
ParcelForce Global Priority for parcels upto 5KG

And introducing DHL Express for parcels upto 10KG (although this is a volumetric 10kg)

Shipping fees are based on product dimensions, dimensional weight reflects how much space a package will take up in a truck or plane.
 

Import Duties, Taxes and Fees

When ordering from Gamersheek, the customer (you) are responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Gamersheek have an IOSS number which means that we can collect EU VAT at the point of purchase for all EU Countries, we only collect VAT if the order total is under €150, anything over this and we will not charge VAT, as this is IOSS Exempt.

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import taxes, customs duties & fees levied by the importers country.

These fees are assessed when the shipment reaches the recipients country and are the sole responsibility of the customer (you).

Gamersheek have no control over these charges and therefore we cannot predict them.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, please contact your local customs office for the most up to date and accurate information.

Returned, Refused, and Underliverable Shipments

Refused & Undeliverable Shipments

A refused shipment will be treated as a return and any return costs will be deducted from any refunds.

If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable due to an error on the customers part, such as an incorrect address or not home, we will contact you to resent the package, any return and reshipping costs are due before the package can be reshipped.

Re-Shipping fees are calculated based on the shipping service used for the original shipment.

International customers will be responsible for any additional fees, duties or taxes for refused or undeliverable shipment.

If customers dispose of your shipment for any reason, no refunds will be issued for the product or the shipping.

Restocking Fees

Unlike other UK retailers, Gamersheek do not charge a restocking fee, but reserve the right to do so in some situations:

- Returned shipment contains missing, damaged or opened items 
- Merchandise inspected by customs
- The return was after the 14 day return window

Cancellation Policy

Gamersheek pride ourselves on our flexible cancellation policy, our policy is designed to give you as much opportunity to cancel items before they ship.

Pre-Order Cancellations

Most pre-orders can be cancelled at any time before payment has been processed. Payments for pre-orders are processed when the item ships from our suppliers/manufacturers.

To cancel a pre-order please click on the link above with your order number and we will get this processed.

Shipments

When orders are marked as picking we have began the process of fulfilling your order. Once this happens items can no longer be cancelled, however these can be returned in line with our Returns Policy.

Cancellation due to non-payment:

Payment for all items must be received within 5 days of when the payment links are received. If payment has not been received within 5 days, orders will be cancelled unless you reach out to Customer Services and request a payment extention.

Not all purchases are going to be perfect. As hard as we try, things may not always arrive as expected; with that in mind we offer a 14 day return policy.

Unopened Items

Unopened & unused items can be returned within 14 days unless specifically stated on the product page, this includes items marked as - Special Order - Usually Dispatched within 14 days.

The packaging must be in the same condition as when initially received.

Opened Items

Opened items are not elligible for returns, this includes:

  • Items that have been opened or removed from the packaging
  • Items that have visible indications that the package has been opened
  • Opened cases that are no longer factory sealed
     

Damaged or Defective Items

Any defective item or damaged in transit items can be exchanged for a replacement of the same item (or a replacement part depending on the issue & manufacturer), if you send the request within 7 days of receiving your order. If the item is no linger available we are happy to issue a refund.

We may request that you email a picture of your broken or defective item to help us determine what exactly is wrong and if a replacement part would be helpful.

The following issues do not qualify as a defective product

  • Minor cosmetic paint issues
  • Package condition, unless you have purchased Collectors Grade Shipping -

How to return an item 

Please contact our Customer Service to receive an RAN (Returns Authorisation Number), so that the item(s) cam be accepted, any returns withouth an RAN will be delayed and possibly not eligible for a refund.

Return Shipping

If the return is due to our error ir a damaged/defective product, we will cover any return shipping fees as long as the return is completed throgh a Gamersheek return option (pre-paid label provided by us). If you choose a self-return option, you will pay the cost charged by the courier selected and will not be reimbursed. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged shipments through a self return option.

Refunds

Refunds on returns are issued after the product has been received and pricessed. Refunds are made via the original payment methid, in cases where this is not possible, store credit will be issued.

Once your refund has been issued, there may be a delay for these funds to show in your account.

  • Credit / Debit Cards: 3-5 Working Days
  • PayPal: Depends on the PayPal original source of payment, PayPal states up to 30 days.
  • Store Credit: Immediately
